What is the Annual Parish Meeting?

The Annual Parish Meeting is an opportunity for residents of Buckenham, Hassingham and Strumpshaw to:
• Hear updates from local groups and organisations
• Raise matters of local interest
• Share ideas, concerns, and priorities for the year ahead
• Celebrate the work and achievements taking place across the parish

Councillors attend as residents, and the Chair presides, but the meeting is shaped by the community.

Community Catch‑Up from 6:30pm

Doors will open from 6:30pm for an informal opportunity to chat, meet neighbours, and connect with local groups.
Light refreshments will be available, including delicious sweet treats by talented local baker Dreamy Bakes. Residents will also have the chance to meet Local Beat Manager, PC Jackie Chambers, who will be on hand for informal conversations and community policing updates.

Formal Meeting at 7:30pm

The formal Annual Parish Meeting will begin at 7:30pm, including:
• Updates from community groups and organisations
• A review of parish activity over the past year
• An open opportunity for residents to ask questions or raise topics

Agenda and Reports

The agenda for the meeting, along with written reports from local groups, will be published below.
